SMMS presents Behind the Scenes, the new ephemeral architecture proposal designed for WOW, based on its corporate dogma, reinterpreting the unexpected through a surprising and provocative architectural concept that invites visitors to discover the product “behind the scenes”.
Far from a frontal contemplation, the proposal invites visitors to enter the stage set, exploring the reverse side of the show, the hidden space ‘behind the scenes’. This theatrical interpretation transforms the spectator into an actor and immerses them in an intimate and mutable journey, where each architectural fragment comes to life as part of an open narrative. Ceramics, as a conductive material, reinforce the temporality and expressiveness of the intervention, providing textures, reflections and tones that enrich the perception of space. Thus, the proposal not only presents a spatial exercise, but also a poetic reflection on what happens outside the spotlight, in that “behind the scenes” where magic is prepared before being revealed to the world.
